Demographics 50.7% are female 56.1% are between 26 and 34 yrs old 42.5% are single, never married, while 46.6% are married or living as a couple

Education, Career and Income 75.3% have graduated university 83.6% are working full time 81% are in a professional occupation 47.9% earn between $30,000 - $70,000

Word of Mouth Matters 40.2 % heard about NextGen from a friend 48% heard about NextGen from the Internet/website

Mission and Vision 50% of respondents are familiar with NextGen’s mission and vision After reading it, 82% agreed they identified with the mission and vision statement.

NextGen Events Among respondents, PKN was the most well attended NextGen event (83%) 61.5% cited lack of time as the reason for not attending events 48% cited lack of awareness

What Does NextGen Do Well? Providing opportunities for people to connect, share ideas and engage in ongoing conversations Inspiring young people to become involved in Gov’t and their community

What Does NextGen Do Well? Informing people about activities and events happening in the city Promoting our own events, particularly PKNs Giving a voice to the Next Generation

How Can NextGen Improve? Broaden our reach - age, race, class, industry, culture, community, etc. Partner with more private, public, community, post-secondary and not-for-profit organizations
