E-Verifying a New Hire Using Onboarding Central An example case

Why use Onboarding Central for E- Verify? 1.Onboarding Central will serve as your company’s “E- Verify employer agent”. 2.After approving an I-9, users can enter E-Verify directly to verify new employees. 3.Users receive immediate notification of the new hire’s employment eligibility as well as interim case results if more information is needed. 4.Assurance that ongoing federal regulations are being followed.

Click on “New Case” to begin the process

Add a unique field to a case (optional)

Info needed from the new hire’s I-9 is populated into E-Verify

Select the new hire’s citizenship status

Based on citizenship status, select verification documents List AList B & C

To manage your e-verify cases, look to your “division” dashboard

E-Verify lets you submit an employee’s photo through the site or by regular mail
