Lutheran Churches Working in Partnership with BSA Councils to Organize Units Before we can put scouting’s values into youth, we have to put youth into scouting.

PARTNERSHIPS A partnership is an agreement between two or more partners to work together to achieve common aims.

FACTORS FOR SUCCESSFUL PARTNERSHIP 1. Agreement that a partnership is necessary. 2. Respect and trust between different interests. 3. The leadership of a respected individual or individuals. 4. Commitment of key interests developed through a clear and open process. 5. The development of a shared vision of what might be achieved. 6. Time to build the partnership. 7. Shared mandates or agendas. 8. The development of compatible ways of working, and flexibility. 9. Good communication 10. Collaborative decision-making 11. Effective organizational management.
