Oracle Migration FirstSearch Final testing has begun, should be in production within the next few months. For the most part it should be transparent to end- users FRBR data model

Oracle Migration Cataloging All supporting DB’s are migrated Resource Catalog (RC),Savefile,Authorities,Dewey Currently completing the requirements for WorldCat Will be built off of the FirstSearch implementation Database synchronization is a huge concern Goal is to have this all completed by July 2005

Oracle Migration CJK Impact Phase one Initially release new CJK software that will search and update the new version of WorldCat First cut will maintain same indexes and search keys that are supported today. Phase Two Implement new indexes and more robust searching capabilities
