3 Different Types of Nouns There are two different types of nouns. Common nouns and proper nouns are two different types of nouns

4 -Common nouns do not describe a specific person, place, or thing. -Some examples of common nouns are things such as dogs, horses, mountains, or a teacher. -Common nouns are not capitalized. Common Nouns: What is a Common Noun?

5 Proper Nouns: What is a Proper Noun? Proper nouns describe a specific person, place or thing. Some examples of proper nouns are the Rocky Mountains, New Jersey, and Harry Potter. Proper nouns are recognized as beginning with a capitol letter. ocky ountains
