2 Objective and Scales The student will be able to evaluate the point of view of both the North and the South in respect to their reason for fighting and evaluate the larger meaning of the DBQ question. 4 Venn Diagram “The Battle Cry of Freedom” Lyrics Each region (North and South) had a version of this song set to the same music. Each version has differences; that show why they would fight, and each have similarities In your group or with an elbow buddy: 1. Read each version of the song and discuss what makes them different and similar 2.
