For every 100 meters you go below ground, the temperature of the rock increases about 3 degrees Celsius. So, if you went about 10,000 feet below ground, the temperature of the rock would be hot enough to boil water. Geothermal Energy has been around for as long as the Earth has existed. "Geo" means earth, and "thermal" means heat. So, geothermal means earth-heat.

Geothermal energy is a good alternative of fossil fossils for producing geothermal electricity. and ultimately save us from the danger of global warming. It ensures less use of oil, coal and gas and less emission of greenhouse gasses

When this hot water comes up through a crack in the earth, we call it a hot spring. Or, it sometimes explodes into the air as a geyser. Deep under the surface, water sometimes makes its way close to the hot rock and turns into boiling hot water or into steam. The hot water can reach temperatures of more than 300 degrees. This is hotter than boiling water. It doesn't turn into steam because it is not in contact with the air.

In other places around the world, people used hot springs for rest and relaxation.

The Thermal Waters of Hungary Hungary is extremely rich in thermal waters, its thermal water reserve is significant on a world scale and on European scale it is outstanding. Most of the mineral and medicinal waters contain dissolved minerals, providing medicinal and curative powers, and making them suitable for bathing and drinking cures. Currently there are more than a thousand wells in Hungary that give + 30°C hot water most of which is medicinal water. Medicinal waters can be found in almost all regions of Hungary.
