The Apollo 11 Space Mission What was it? Why was it special? What background information can you find about it? When did it happen? Who were the people involved? What is the evidence that it did actually happen? What is the evidence that it did not actually happen? What do you think? What was it? Why was it special? Research into the planet of your choice. Which number planet is it? How far away from the sun? What is it made from? What is the atmosphere like? How long does it take to orbit the sun? What temperatures does it have? How many moons does it have? When was the planet discovered? What other interesting info can you find? Include pictures and diagrams. Which number planet is it? Presentation Task Your task is to finish off imagining you are a holiday rep, but your holidays are to other planets. You need to come up with a brochure of one of the planets, and describe what it is going to be like for a sightseer to visit What should they pack (can they breathe there); what is the terrain like; is it hot or cold; how long will it take to get there etc… As a group, you’ll present your chosen planet to the class - be original!
