2. Definition: Rational Number
A rational number is any number that can be written as a ratio, a fraction where the numerator and denominator are integers. Decimals that terminate or repeat are rational numbers since they can also be written as ratios (fractions)

The fraction is relatively prime (the fraction is simplified where the numerator and denominator have no common factors)
