4. Letter Expert Every child gets to be a Letter Expert Your child will bring home a bag/envelope with a cardboard letter, sentence strip, and a book. Help them find pictures to represent the beginning sound of the letter.-Use clip art or magazine pictures. Read the book with them.

5. Sight Words Words will be listed in our Homework folders and websites. Most sight words can not be sounded out. Must be learned by sight. Fun games to review the words. Ex: Which words rhyme with bike - like Make flash cards out of words to review at home. Children should be able to read and write them.
