2. I am a red eye tree frog In this book you will lean all about me. I waned to write a book I am so awesome!! I am not like other frogs.

3. I am the red eye tree frog the one and only!!! I'm slimy and I have spikey feet!!! My name is Hoppy because I hop a LOT!!

4. I live in Costa Rica rain forest. I love it here!!!!! I hop to tree to tree. You know what? I never go on the ground!! Like birds who fly to tree to tree I JUMP!! The rainforest where I live is very green!

5. A boy came up to me. Lots of boys do that to me. But he's just right! Ok I need to lay my eggs I go up on tree and lay my eggs on a leaf. It takes about 3 days for my eggs to hatch.

6. I sneak up on my prey and… CRUNCH!!! Yummy my I love fly's I also eat snails worms and slugs I have to watch out at for predators. They are bids, hedgehogs and snakes. Since I'm so bright green I can camouflage with the leaves.

7. Oh no I see a bird! My skin is camouflage! Ha! ha! You cant see me! My pray cant see me and I'm safe. Can you spot me? You might see my bright colors but I tuck them away when I hide. My tongue is one of my most special feature's it is super long and super sticky. I can snatch fly's right out of the air. My big webbed feet have suction pads on the toes so I do not slip off the trees.

8. Now that you know a lot about me if you find me or my friends say hi. If you have me as a pet take good care of me. But my heart will stop and slow down and my body will stop I will get cold but its ok. Good night.

9. Juliette Shouhry is 7 years old and in 2 nd grade and in Manhattan new school. Juliette also wrote The Best Day Ever Dolphins and my mom the poem. She loves to wear bows! Juliette chose the red eye tree frog because the red eye tree frogs big red eyes!
