Do not allow yourself to feel anxious about them. This will impede your progress,” warns Jack Addington, author of the book, All About Goals and How to Achieve Them.

Feel the joy and satisfaction of having attained your goal. Visualize your goal in this manner everyday.

Don’t discuss your goals with people who don’t share your enthusiasm, as they may cause you to have doubts about your goal.

Answering the phone Taking care of customers Workplace crisis Rate these tasks as to their importance with an A, B, or C. Discuss with your supervisor

Writing a report Attending a meeting Planning for a new product or service, etc. Rate these tasks as to their importance with an A, B, or C. Discuss with your supervisor

Use the same color you used on your task list to highlight the block of time on your calendar. You will see at a glance if it is a daily, weekly, or yearly task. You will see if you have enough time to accomplish all the tasks.

Employees who are skilled in that task. Employees who would like to learn the skills the task requires. Employees who have more time.

Laugh at your frustrations, because it: Relieves your tension Creates positive energy Adds fun to a hectic workday Keep a joke book handy and take a minute to get a new perspective.
