5. Jem Jem confessed to Scout that the night he went to fetch his trousers he found them neatly folded and mended on the Radley fence. It was as if someone knew Jem’s mind. Jem says you only learn something in school from the 6 th grade. Jem wants to write a letter of thanks for all the things they have received and place it in the knothole.
