NRI Innovation Network - Purpose The aim of the network is: to facilitate information sharing, contacts, and knowledge, among the hospitals and other health care organizations in the Nordic region to support and harbor current and future networks, projects and general knowledge-sharing among the participants (not replace current or planned network initiatives/projects) Benefit the involved organisations’ mutually No fee for the participants. No minimum of involvement, but an opportunity for information sharing.

NRI Innovation Network Nov. 2012 – May 2014 November 2012 May 2013 Summer 2013 Autumn 2013/Spring 2014May 2014 The NRI secretary asked the Ideas Clinic to: - map out the key actors of Nordic hospital innovation - establish a NRI Innovation Network The results of the mapping were presented at the NRI Conference at Solstrand & The NRI Innovation network officially initiated NRI Conference 2014 -The network consolidated - LinkedIn Groups - The steering committee (Represented by HelseBergen, BergenTO, Innovations Centre at Karolinska UH, Centre for health and Technology at Oulu UH, Copenhagen Centre for Innovation and Research, & the Ideas Clinic at Aalborg UH) -Show & Tell webinars -Ongoing correspondence with other Nordic health innovation networks/organisations -Steering committee and the working group is meeting -NRI Innovations 2014 Workshop

Mapping I Norway: – National organisations InnoMed Innovation Norway – Regional and local innovation units Health Care Regions Innovation units at the University Hospitals Tech-Trans units Finland – Initiated primarily by state funds through organisations like Tekes and VTT – Local initiatives such as CHT (Oulo) & Forum Virium (Helsinki)
