14. Things to Know Before Registering for a Language: People lose the ability to learn a language as they get older, so start your language as soon as possible. At CHS, students can take up to four years of French, German or Spanish. Each level is divided into two sections: A and B. You must register for both sections during the same school year. (Ex: German 1A & 1B the same year.) Students should complete 2 years of one world language before considering another, and not take 2 languages at the same time.
