Where Peru is located Peru is located in South America. It is surrounded by Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia, and Chile.

The capital of Peru : Lima Major cities located in Peru: There are about 20 major cities and they are: : Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Huancayo, Iquiitos, Piura, Chimbote, Pucallpa, Cusco, Tacna, Ica, Puno, Juliaca, Chinnca Alta, Huanuco, Sullana, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Tarapoto. Some of which are many places tourists can venture and experience like Parcas National Reserve on Peru’s southern coast

Independence day: The independence day of Peru is July 28 th, 1824 Activities in Peru on it’s independence day: Peru host two days for it’s independence day and has those two days filed with joy and merriment. They host festivals and then hoist up the flag to basically rejoice the fact that they are an independent country.

The meaning of the colors on the flag: The flag containes two red outer bands and a single white inner band. The white band symbolizes Peace and purity, The coat of arms means fauna, freedom, mational pride, and heroism, the cinchona tree means flora, the yellow cornucopia represents spilling coins that stand for Peru’s mineral wealth, the wreath of palm and laurel branches stand for liberty and freedom, and finally the red represents blood shed for independence.

Typical foods in Peru: The typical foods of peru are: Papa a la Huanacaina, Anticuchos, Lomo Santado, Ceviche, Tiradito, Aji de Gallina, Ezl Chifa, Papa Rellena, Rocoto Relleno, Pachamanca, Cuy, Cau Cau, Ensalada Pallares, Sopa, escabeche de Pescado, and lots of food have potatoe served in many different ways and forms.

Its monetary systems: Libra peruana de oro, Sol de oro, Intis, Nuevo Sol They use banknotes and also have credit cards President is Ollanta Humala Peru’s government system is a Constitutional Republic
