Only wholesome lunch, snack and juice options are available for students to choose from. We have waste-free lunch options in our school because our students use:

We use recycled paper for students worksheets Circulars and announcements are made through the school website or Educomp online. Our school notebooks are made using eco friendly paper products. We are striving to reduce paper consumption by uploading worksheets online. School and Office supplies:

How toxin-free is your school? Has your school: ◦ Switched to green cleaners certified by Green Seal or EcoLogo? ◦ Implemented an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program and reduced pesticide use? ◦ Chosen low-emitting paints, carpets, whiteboard markers, art supplies or other materials to improve indoor air quality? ◦ Provided adequate ventilation (i.e. no strong smells in classrooms)? ◦ Used air filters rated at or above MERV 11? ◦ Prohibited smoking on campus and in public school buses How sustainably does your school use energy and reduce carbon emissions? Has your school: ◦ Switched to CFC or LED light bulbs? ◦ Conducted an energy audit? ◦ Implemented energy conservation measures for Heating-Ventilation-Air-Conditioning (HVAC), lighting, or computers? ◦ Implemented a “Turn it off” campaign with students and staff (lights, printers, screens, copiers, etc)? ◦ Purchased energy efficient appliances or equipment? ◦ Installed solar PV panels? ◦ Installed solar hot water? ◦ Switched to biodiesel fuel, natural gas, or hybrid buses? ◦ Promoted Safe Routes to School or other efforts to encourage walking, biking, carpooling, or public transportation to school? ◦ Calculated its carbon footprint?
