Future and Experienced Users The following slides contain a sample of a fun, enjoyable way to convey valuable information regarding roundabouts to the child within us all….

Round about the Roundabout Drive round around a roundabout In Bend, one lane or two. Stay in the lane that you arrive Go straight, go left or U. A roundabout is just an intersection With a curve Drive round around a roundabout Chose safely all to serve. The traffic in the roundabout Has got the right of way. No stop signs round a roundabout Just yield to them, OK? Don’t crash into the other car. Don’t cross the middle line. Just drive around the roundabout And exit when it’s time
21
Round about the Roundabout You walk around a roundabout. Don’t cross across, Not you! And on a bike, just travel like A vehicle in queue. Drive round around a roundabout Be safe, you have a choice Just use your head, do what we said and travel safe – rejoice! Drive slow around a roundabout It’s made that way you see, Just travel slow, get where you go, It’s safe for you and me! The roundabout is safer than A traffic light, it’s true! If your choice not right, and bump you might, Fatalities are few. When trucks drive through a roundabout They go one at a time. The apron helps them circulate - They get to cross the lines.
22
Round about the Roundabout A siren means emergency Think fast, look where are you? Give them a lane, someone’s in pain And let them quickly through Drive round around a roundabout Choose safe, and be a friend From here, from there, from everywhere A roundabout in Bend.
