Plan challenging courses in high school. The types of courses you take are just as important as your GPA. Start thinking about reasons for attending college and begin to research college costs. Explore your interests. Get involved with the wide range of clubs and activities that are offered. Try something new! Consider how your interests in and out of the classroom intersect. Is there a way you might be able to pursue this further with a summer program?

Grading Students will EARN their grade by the following weights: Assessments (Tests, Quizzes, etc.): 70% Class work/Homework: 30% Homework Policy Student will receive homework to reinforce what is being taught in the classrooms. 11. Hall/Bathroom Passes Each student will be given passes when there is an emergency. Students are expected to use passing time appropriately. Opportunities for Grade Improvement Lunch study tables will be assigned to all students failing a Core class. After school tutoring is also available.
