Andrew Niccol Biography/Beginning in film making: □ His career began in London as a successful TV commercial writer and director. □ After 10 years Niccol relocated to Hollywood to make movies that lasted more than his 60 second commercials. □ Niccol wrote the screenplay for The Truman Show featuring Jim Carrey. □ Directed the Sci-Fi movie Gattaca. □ In 2002, he wrote and directed S1mone. □ In 2005, he directed Lord of War starring Nicolas Cage. □ His two next features are In Time which he describes as “the bastard son of Gattaca” and The Host based on the bestselling novel by Stephenie Meyer.
