4. Write “Unit 4: One- Step Equations & Inequalities” and put a tab that says “Unit 4” on the side. Make sure that your tab will not overlap the other tabs when you close your book!

5. Take the top right corner of pg. 95 and fold it down to the spine of your book. Glue or tape the right hand side and bottom of page 95 to pg. 97 to make your vocab pocket. Keep your unit 4 vocabulary and other important handouts in this pocket!

6. Glue or tape your Unit 4 Standards, Checklist and Concept Map sheet onto page 99. On pg. 98, write “Unit 4” in a circle in the middle of the page. Please use the directions on the bottom of the sheet to unpack the standards and create your own concept map on page 98.

7. Glue or tape your Writing Expressions with Variables sheet onto page 101.

8. Glue or tape your Substitution & Checking Answers sheet onto page 103

9. Glue or tape your Writing Equations sheet onto page 105

10. Glue or paste your Equations notes page on page 107.

11. Glue or tape your Inequalities and Substitution sheet onto page 109.

12. Glue or tape your Practice Writing & Graphing Inequalities Sheet on pg. 110. Fold your Writing & Graphing Inequalities sheet and paste it on the top of pg. 111. Underneath this half sheet, you will create your own inequalities flash cards!

13. Make sure that you copy your teacher’s instructions to make these flash cards! Line up 5 cards on top of each other and tape them ONLY on the left side! Copy the examples as we go along!

18. Write “Direct Variation” on the top of page 113 and glue or tape the Variation and Proportion sheet on pg. 113.

19. Fold your Practice with Functions and Tables sheet with the giraffes on it in half and glue or tape onto page 115. You may use pg. 114 for extra space if you need to work the practice problems out. Make sure to label the outside when you paste it in!

20. Glue or tape your Graphing a Direct Proportion sheet onto page 117

21. Glue or tape your Putting It All Together… What Exactly Is A Direct Proportion? Sheet on page 119.
