Sounds scary, right? Recall: › Postulate just refers to something so simple, it’s common sense in the math world. The addition postulates basically say that if a segment is made up of multiple segments, you can add the lengths of the smaller segments to equal the length of the long segment.

The Segment Addition Postulate: If three points A, B, and C are collinear and B is between A and C, then… AB + BC = AC
