Thursday…bellringer PLAN Review: How many feet long is the radius of a circle whose circumference is 16π feet? A.2 B.2 C.4 D.8 E.16
5
Transversal Line: a line intersecting two parallel lines.
6
Let’s number these angles. Which angles are congruent?
7
Things to know and add to notes (or foldable—is it full yet??? ) Vertical Angles Theorem: vertical angles are congruent. Corresponding Angles: Lie on the same side of the transversal and in corresponding positions Corresponding Angles Postulate: corresponding angles are congruent.
8
The following deal with parallel lines intersected by a transversal: Same-Side Interior Angles Postulate: same- side interior angles are supplementary. Alternate Interior Angle Theorem: alternate interior angles are congruent. Alternate Exterior Angles Theorem: alternate exterior angles are congruent.
9
Friday… Bellringers get turned in today. Login to your COW Bellringer: If the probability an even will happen is, what is the probability that the event will NOT happen?
10
