2. 10 th of the Series Thank you, Prof. Li Liang, for your and the university’s strong support to the Symposium. Representing the international organizing committee, we also thank you for the interest and the support from, – all the participants, all the contributors – and, not least, the enthusiasm of the local hosts. Without your support, this Symposium can not be successful. The symposium was originated in Hiroshima in 1993 by Prof. Takashi Ohsugi together with the members of IOC, – to bring experts of semiconductor tracking detectors together from around the world to discuss and to stimulate each other.
