5. Emergency Procedure Cards for 2015-16 Family File Opened Monday, August 17th Family File is replacing the Emergency Procedure Card and can be found by logging in to HCPSS Connect. 6. Emergency Procedure Cards for 2015-16 Beginning on August 17 when parents log in through HCPSS Connect, there will be a link directing them to the Family File section. If you encounter any problems logging in or accessing Family File, please contact the school. 17. We love volunteers!! Please let your child’s teacher know if you would be able to volunteer. If interested, your child’s teacher will contact you in October once routines have been established.

18. You should have received a school supply list when you registered your child at HSES. http://hses.hcpss.org/messages/supply-lists You can bring your child’s supplies on Friday when you visit the classroom during kindergarten orientation.

19. Students will have a 30 minute recess each day before their lunch. We will go outside unless the temperature drops below 35 degrees. Please make sure you dress your child appropriately and we encourage children to wear sneakers. During days that it is raining or too cold the students will have games, movies, or manipulatives inside. Each class will have P.E. three times a week.

20. 60% of Students come to Kindergarten with the cognitive skills needed to be successful. 40% of students come to Kindergarten with the social/emotional skills needed to be successful.
