Mattel Inc,’s Barbie was just signed up to star in a live-action feature film by Creative Artists Agency International Creative Management sparked a four-studio bidding war for a movie starring Asteroids The William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC has signed toy stars such as G.I. Joe and the well known Hasbro game, Candy Land.

While stars such as Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler failed to draw crowds, action figures such as G.I. Joe and Transformers ruled the box office this summer The second Transformer movie grossed over $833 million in the world-wide box office and hit merchandising revenues of $484 million
