Seth and Johnwww.Build-It-Yourself.com Parents sometimes make our lives miserable because they don’t give us enough time to play computer games. Convince parents that they should give us more time to play (and create) computer games because we will learn valuable life skills.

Here are some ideas for rockets. It is usually better to make your PPT backgrounds dark so that when you ‘cut your characters out’ in Scratch, there will be a slight black outline around your images. www.build-it-yourself.com

You will need planets in your space scenes. It is usually better to cut out planets and place them in your space scene. This gives you lot’s of flexibility and makes it easy to detect when your rocket reaches a particular planet. In Scratch, make the background transparent and move the planet to the middle of the frame. www.build-it-yourself.com

Check that your planets look good on your space background or stage. If the background is too busy, your foreground characters may not pop out. www.build-it-yourself.com

1.Size your rockets and characters so they can maneuver around your scenes. 2.Rotate your rockets so they point to the right. This will make it easier to point them in the right direction in Scratch. 3.Position them in the center with black rectangles if possible. When you cut out your rockets and characters in Scratch (i.e. create transparent backgrounds) your rockets and characters will have a black outline as opposed to a white outline. Also your characters will register (not jump around) when you animate them. www.build-it-yourself.com
