State Resource Centre on Child Labour Objective To contribute to the Government of India’s and Government of Karnataka’s efforts to combat the worst forms of child labour and reduce the vulnerability of adolescents to economic exploitation in Karnataka State. The capacity of the Karnataka State Government to tackle the issue of Child Labour is enhanced

State Resource Centre on Child Labour Karnataka State Child Labour Eradication Resource Centre (SRC) established and operational. Labour Department’s centralized help line and referral centre on child labour established. A Revised Karnataka State Action Plan for the Elimination of Child Labour is developed. A Training Resource Person base is established in the state

State Resource Centre on Child Labour Continuation and further strengthening of the State Resource Centre under the revised State Action Program

State Resource Centre on Child Labour Objective is to develop most resourceful website Should facilitate for the people and organizations working for child welfare Than just the communication tool, should be ‘knowledge’ dissemination platform

State Resource Centre on Child Labour Website will warehouse all the relevant information about child welfare – legislations, awareness materials, books, capacity building materials, audio-video materials etc Will have the data base of organizations and activists working for child welfare Will facilitate to get online reporting from District Societies Facilitate for the ‘web based solution exchange platform’

State Resource Centre on Child Labour Comments and Suggestions are received from different organization and people Had consultation meeting with senior personnel of labour department Sought expectation and suggestion from FOUR NGOs and more than EIGHT development professionals
