Today’s Classroom Learning Objectives Students will be able to write 5 lines in response to a prompt. Students will be able to write two new words in a word study guide from Unit #7 from the Sadlier book. Students will be able to complete 4 of the associated exercises from the unit. Students will work on a presentation about Elizabethan life and will be able to assign group roles for the project. Students will create an EDMODO account and post a message as an exit assignment.

Information 56 days of school remaining - much to accomplish - March 29, late items must be submitted Elizabethan Projects - Shakespeare is coming!!!! Still catching up on the grades - papers to be completed by the end of the week

EDMODO We will start using EDMODO for various projects - exit tickets - classroom discussion - assignment submissions? Account setup - go to: EDMODO.COM - select: “I’m A Student” - Use Code: Period 1 - nc1ly2 Period 3 - 2jd1zk - create a user name (use first and last name)

Elizabethan Project Share the work - everyone must work together - everyone shares the grade Detailed and through - must include enough information - be knowledgeable about topics Multiple sources - this is research, more is better in this case

What should project work look like… On task behavior On topic discussions - planning - sharing ideas Off task computer usage - computer will be shut down - ex. Cool math, music/other videos

Exit Response Must post one response to Edmodo - include what you accomplished today - what you still need to get done - did you meet daily objectives (on desk) This will be worth points (5 for the day)
