10 10 Analytical Activities Assist in reviewing/developing CSDR Plans –Integral part: the Responsibilities Assignment Matrix (RAM) –AT&L support via DAES has been instrumental –Overall real progress but costly Approval process takes 3 months All submitted plans need revision –Approved Plans –Plans in progress As of August 1, 2005

11 11 Analytical Activities Validate CSDR Submissions –Lower priority in 2002 and 2003 –Started a “catch-up” plan in June 2004 All “pending” submissions will be placed in DACIMS All submissions in DACIMS will have a “Validated” field All submissions with as of dates after 31 December 2001 will be validated –Backlog completed in January 2005 Uploading data into DACIMS –Metrics: As of August 1, 2005

12 12 Outreach Activities Coordination with DCAA –Developed audit procedure –Now conducting audits Coordination with OSD(AT&L) –Acquisition Resources and Analysis (ARA) Updated MIL-HDBK-881B Include status of CSDR in DAES Assessments Revised EVM DID –Format 1 is mandatory –Format 1 must be product-oriented –Format 1 must tie to MIL-HDBK-881B –Format 1 must be the same for CSDR “Submission of Format 1 using a product-oriented WBS in accordance with the WBS Handbook, MIL- HDBK-881, and the CWBS DID, DI-MGMT-81334A, is mandatory. (Note: For contracts that require CCDRs, the CWBS shall be developed, approved, and maintained in accordance with DoD 5000.4-M-1, Cost and Software Data Reporting Manual, and the CWBS DID.)”
