11. Controlled Assessment Not like current GCSE where draft essays can be done, commented on and returned. Now pupils will have a set time, usually 2 – 3 hours to complete the task in controlled conditions. THIS MEANS –  Total concentration in all lessons  Full attendance  Taking detailed notes  Being organised!
