October 2014 – 16 th Plenary meeting – last of 2013/14 work programme EU Commission - approved funding for ELGPN 2015 to: Complete and publish various documents / guidelines etc. 3 meetings in 2015 – February / September / December Work Stream – Quality Assurance / Career Management Skills Prepare proposal to EU Commission re future of ELGPN ELGPN – approved publication of the QAE Framework as separate document within the “Guidelines “

Quality Assurance and Evidence Based Practice Career Management Skills Ireland – Lead Country in ELGPN QAE Full active participant in ELGPN CMS Access, Co-operation and Co-ordination via the National Forum on Guidance April – October 2014 NCGE attended ELGPN meetings in June, - Zagreb, Croatia September – Prague re CMS October, - Rome, Italy November - Riga re QAE

4 Career Management Skills.... Career Management Skills Work plan is being agreed by lead countries and consultant Likely good practice guidelines for developing and implementing CMS at national level

Practitioner competence Schools / PLC - Post graduate Qualification in Guidance & Teaching AEGI - Post graduate qualification in guidance AEGI - Info Officer - Cert in Adult Guidance LES - some have post graduate qualifications LES - some have Cert / Dip in adult guidance 2. Citizen/user involvement Client Feedback - AEGI Student feedback - Schools Student feedback – HE

Co-operation and Co-ordination Do you see a role for the National Forum on Guidance in development of QAE / standards / systems in guidance ?
