After a flood… When a flood comes, what is truly irreplaceable if water damage strikes? Insurance can pay for many things, like a new kettle, but what about the following?

Family Photos OOOOld photographs were not digital and therefore it is often impossible to get more copies of these loved family photos. SSSSay goodbye to them…

The Family Computer AAAAlthough the insurance should replace the cost of the computer, you could lose all the stuff saved onto it. LLLLike photos, work, and school projects…

Collections… Personal belongings that have been collected over years would be impossible to replace. You would get some money, but Dad’s old records could no longer be bought in shops.

Your early Artwork Your mother loved the pictures you drew as a young child. All these would disappear.

Jewellery Although insurance would give money if something happened to replace a necklace, it would not have the same sentimental value as an important gift.

Musical Instruments/ Equipment Equipment that you have broken in through playing and you have become used to… Like a musical instrument. Or a favourite pen. You will get a new one but it won’t be the same!

Favourite Presents If people gave you things years ago, they may no longer be available in the shops. Similarly if people have made you things, like this rabbit, they are totally unique.

Irreplaceable items! After a flood, people sometimes find that other irreplaceable items have been left on the floor, like photo albums, and now these are lost forever. Think about what money cannot replace Like important paperwork.
