Science Dictionary global warming n. An increase in the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere, especially a sustained increase sufficient to cause climatic change.

 Main cause is the Greenhouse Effect  Greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun  The gases that are part of the greenhouse effect are man-made factors in which play out the key role of causing Global Warming Greenhouse gases include but are not limited to carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane. These three greenhouse gases are the best known gases within the greenhouse effect.

-Chemical formula is CO 2 -May be released through photosynthesis, the burning of fossil fuels, and deforestation -Gas alone contributes approximately about 60% of the greenhouse effect

 Chemical Formula is N 2 O  Nitrous oxide is produced through the performing of agriculture  Agricultural uses of nitrogen based fertilizers, the disposing of human and animal waste in sewage treatment  Also this gas is released through combustion such as automobile exhaustion  Nitrous oxide is about 6% effective in the greenhouse effect

-Chemical formula is NH 4 -NH 4 is a colorless, odorless, flammable gas which is also known as swamp gas -Activities such as rice cultivation and live-stock contribute to the production of this greenhouse gas - live-stock includes such as cows, sheep, camels, buffaloes, and termites -fuel leakage also creates methane - NH 4 contributes approximately a proportion of about 20% of the greenhouse effect

-Because of the rapid increase with the greenhouse gases temperature is rising creating more heat pollutants/particles in the air that bring concerns in our health -health concerns include respiratory diseases such as asthma and bronchitis -Increase in temperatures are also effecting the sea levels and the weather

Sea levels are rising because ice glaciers are melting Weather is becoming more severe, specifically floods and droughts

-There are lots of ways in which we can help decrease and slow down the process of global warming because it is obvious that it cannot me stopped. -We as a community should begin to use more recycled products such as toilet paper perhaps. The point is that we need to become “GREEN” which is now a more often used term to describe better ways of helping Earth as we know it. -We can use solar energy to reduce combustion which is also something that’s becoming popular but not at a fast rate and that should also be changed.

Solar energy reduces electricity bill too!!!! Recycled wallets
