5. 5 Post-HS Options 4-Year University Community College Trade School Military Employment Junior year is an important year to prep for your next step in life!

6. 4-Year University Transcript: ◦GPA: Most schools require a minimum 3.0 ◦All Cs or above for core classes ◦World Language credits (2 of the same!) ◦Through Algebra 2 for math ◦Next semester is the last semester of grades that will go on your transcript before you apply! ◦Modified diploma is not accepted ◦16 Academic Credits  Don’t slack off this year or next!  15 credits is required for graduation

7. 4-Year University SAT/ACT: most schools accept either ◦Glencoe Juniors take for FREE on Feb 7! Post-HS Option Activity In a group, you will get a sample student’s history Based on the facts mentioned, determine which post-HS option suits that student best Identify the information or words that helped you identify your decision As a group, create a rationale for why you think that is the best option
