Our mission To enhance the experience of former, current and prospective students By building upon the journalism school’s strengths and improving its weaknesses Through the recruitment of KU journalism alumni and their resources And the retention of current students in the school’s Web of networks Through use of social media.

Other thoughts inCircle for U-M alumni It offers all the basic functions of an online directory (the ability to search for friends and colleagues) with the added ability to create your own personal network—just like Facebook and LinkedIn—but exclusively for U-M students and alumni From here, you can search for jobs and find alums who work at companies you’re targeting

Summary No matter which way we choose, the following functions should be included: Professional conduit –providing free services such as job postings, and advices for course choosing, etc. Community board –where alumni and students can exchange information of any sort Social events –organize social events for alumni and students
