Your challenge : Design a personal logo to be printed and ironed on a t-shirt. Requirements: All artwork must fit inside a 4 x 5 inch box All artwork must be original (NO CLIPART) All artwork must be school appropriate Student will provide their own white or light colored T-shirt Tools: Microsoft PowerPoint, drawing tools COPY THIS IN YOUR DESIGN NOTEBOOK

Step 1 - Clearly state the problem In your own words, explain the problem.

Step 2 - Collect information People - Information - Materials - Tools & Machines - Time - Energy - Capital - Develop at least 2 questions that you still need information about.

Step 3 – Develop possible solutions Each student will brainstorm: 3 designs –On a clean sheet of paper in your design notebook, create 6 boxes as shown: Explanation goes hereDrawing goes here 1. 2. 3.

Step 4 –final design 1.Select the best design. 2.Make 2 copies of the final design. 3.Show Mrs. J.

Step 6 - Evaluate The final product will be evaluated by the instructor to determine if it meets specifications. Instructor will test the bridge by adding weighted rods to the bridge structure.

Step 6 – Final Reflection (Both parts should be in paragraph form) Part 1: In your own words, using complete sentences explain how you used the problem solving process to develop your solution. (Go through the process step by step) Part 2: Did you complete the project? What do you like best about your project? What do you like least? What would you do differently?
