Grades In-Class Activities – 10% Call Backs (2 per semester) – 10% Attendance is required Time Sheets (1 per week) – 40% Evaluations (4 per semester) – 25% Attendance – 15% Points lost after 3 absences

Time Sheet Discipline Policy First offense verbal warning. Second offense written warning. Third offense suspension from site. Fourth offense removal from program Appeal process Must be signed and returned before reporting to site

Expectations prior to reporting to site In-class activities must meet teacher requirements before reporting to site Resume and Cover Letter Completed Activity and Information/Review Question Booklets Teacher/Employer Interview Sheet – due at first Call Back must call site two days prior to reporting All relevant documents must be on file Students must receive permission from instructor before reporting to the site.

Expectations reporting to site No carpooling (you cannot transport anyone) Go directly to and return immediately to school from site Do not return more than 5 minutes before next class Do not be late for next class – no exceptions When returning use flag pole doors or doors by AG building. Do not use Gym door. Contact program coordinator and teacher/employer if you are going to be absent or late arriving to site If leaving school during the day, complete sign out/in sheet at office

Expectations on site Block 1 begins at 8:10 a.m. Follow all employer/school guidelines Appropriate dress Attendance If you are late to site / must be absent you must text me (573-470-4397) If text not received student will be counted absent and the office will be informed. Random site visits will be made to verify attendance. Follow instructions Courtesy Dependability Communicate Show initiative Cell phone CONFIDENTIALITY Complete time sheets on a daily basis Block 5 ends at 3:05 p.m.

Expectations returning to school Do not be late to your next class Do not bring food and drink into school When returning use flag pole doors or doors by AG building. Do not use Gym door. Inclement Weather Policy

Discipline Policy Late time sheets – Students will receive no credit and time sheet discipline procedure will be followed Out-of-Place/Truancy – Possible removal from program You are considered out of place or truant if you do not call teacher/employer and program coordinator concerning late arrival/early departure or absence Dishonesty and/or failure to abide by site rules of conduct, safety regulations, and dress codes may lead to removal from the site and failure of the course Violations of confidentiality will lead to immediate removal from the site Carpooling/Transporting Friends – Immediate removal from program Habitual problems may lead to removal from the program

Final Thoughts If unable to go to site report Mr. Kurz in the HHS Office Block 1 - You are responsible for information in HHS Bulletin. You may not skip JS classes to stay in another class, study for a test, work on a project, etc. Do not ask employer/teacher to sign incomplete time sheets or evaluations If problems arise see program coordinator IMMEDIATELY.
