Home Vs. Work With the growth of global competitive capitalism, more women are encouraged to participate in the workplace Women embraced a male model of single-minded career focus, and the result is an epidemic of childlessness among professional women By the time a woman is married and settled enough in her career to think of starting a family, it is often too late “Don’t get too educated; Don’t get too successful or too ambitious”
6
Home Vs. Work Woman who voluntarily leaves her career to raise children often find that the way back in is extremely difficult. The burden of family and home management still falls primarily on the woman, even if she has a job.
