3.  Dr. John Atanasoff & Clifford Berry designed & created the first electronic computer in 1937.  They called this computer the Atanasoff-Berry- computer or the ABC.

4.  In 1943, during WW2, a. British scientist named Alan Turing, designed the Colossus.  This computer was used by the military to break German codes.

5.  The first commercially available computer came out in 1951.  It was known as the UNIVAC.

6.  In the year 1953, IBM, a new computer manufacturing company, created the IBM model 650.  In that same year core technology was developed.

7.  In the year 1981, the first virus is created. It is called Elk Cloner. It was spread by use of an Apple II floppy disk.

8.  Internet Explorer 4.0 is released in 1997.  In that year 50,000,000 users are connected to the Internet & World Wide Web.

9.  In 1999, Microsoft releases Microsoft Office 2000, the second version of Microsoft Office.

10.  In 2005, Mozilla Firefox is released & it will have 10% of the browser market.
