1 OASYS Employee Evaluation User Training – Part 1

2 Welcome Please log into the chat room. This will be the format we will use for questions during the webinar. We anticipate the presentation will take 15 to 20 minutes with scheduled Q & A breaks. We will stay on after the presentation if you would like to try and log in to make sure your account is working and you see the correct slides.

4 OASYS MyLearningPlan: OASYS is a web-based Observation and Evaluation Management System that offers district leaders fast and easy scheduling, managing, completing, and reporting of all components of the evaluation process for all employees, principals, and administrators.

8 “My Evaluation” Overview

9 Scheduled Components - where you will communicate with those who need to schedule an event (pre-observation, observation, etc.) with you. Action Required – where you will be notified when a part of the process needs your attention. You will click on the links to the specific activities you must complete listed here. In Progress – where you can track the parts of your evaluation process that are underway. Complete – items listed here have been marked complete by you and your building administrator.

10 COMPLETING THE SELF-REFLECTION

11 Completing The Self-Reflection Action Required: Open Self Reflection Simply click on a component to select

12 Completing The Self-Reflection Adding Evidence/Justification: –Click: Enter Justification under necessary component –Type in Evidence as necessary

13 Completing The Self-Reflection Required Fields: –Labeled with an exclamation point –You will not be able to Submit this form until all required fields are complete

14 Action Buttons Action buttons at bottom of each form are: –Submit Flags the form as completed and queues it for acknowledgement or finalization –Save Retains the work you just completed on the form and allows you to continue working on it at a later time. Do NOT exit any form without saving it or your work will be lost! –Save & Notify Retains the work you just completed and allows for a message to be sent to your administrator or another administrator –Reset Clears ALL fields in the current form –Print (to PDF) –Comment Allows for the form to be annotated with a comment box

16 BEGINNING OF THE YEAR CONFERENCE

17 Beginning of the Year Conference To complete the form click: Open Beginning of the Yr Conference 3 Years of Past PD listed at top of form and aligned to standard(s)

18 Beginning of the Year Conference Required fields are labeled with an exclamation point (!) For each required component, you and your administrator will agree on at least ONE artifact to be submitted Some components can only be observed

19 Beginning of the Year Conference After filling out the form with your administrator you may reopen your form to submit your artifacts –Locate the component for which you would like to upload an artifact –In the toolbar below the component, click: Add an Artifact

20 Beginning of the Year Conference Fill out all fields listed (Name, Description, Type, Category, Alignment, File Type) NOTE: You won’t be able to submit until you align your artifact. Select the Rubric and the Criteria and then you must select the green plus sign: Add Criteria

24 Managing/Viewing Artifacts All artifacts uploaded will be listed: –Download by clicking the Paper Icon –View by using the Magnifying Glass –Edit by using the Pencil Icon –Delete by using the Red ‘X’
