Our Program Applies only to improved properties with impervious surface coverage Two categories of assessment: Residential and Nonresidential Fee is phased in over 3 years (60% / 80% / 100%) Credits of up to 50% are available for multifamily residential and nonresidential properties to account for existing practices Equivalent residential unit (ERU) is 2,940 sq ft

Residential Fee Residential properties are assessed based on zoning classification Tier 1Low density (RA, RLD) Tier 2Medium density (R1, R2, R5) Tier 3High density (R10, R22) Incentive program for rebates for the purchase, construction, and installation of qualifying practices (rain barrels, rain gardens, etc)

Nonresidential Fee Applies to commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, farms, marinas, homeowner association property, private roads Fee amount is based on actual impervious surface on the property (as a multiple of ERU amount) Fee is “capped” as no more than 25% of the property’s base property tax rate Credits given for existing practices, NPDES permits, clean marinas Non-profit properties’ fee is $1
