2 God led the Israelites and freed them out of Egypt

3 How did God fight for the Hebrews? 1.Move forward, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.” Ex14:15 2.Moved the cloud from above them to behind them, coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. 3.Opened a path through the red sea, and sent a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. 4.He brought confusion to the Egyptians. “He made the wheels of their chariots come off, so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, ‘Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.’” Ex14:25

4 “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord. The Lord will fight for you and you have only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

8 1. Sanctification God’s chosen people in the Old Testament were sanctified Setting apart unto God + filled with God’s holiness

9 Exodus 19:5-6 “Now therefore, if you keep My covenant, you shall be a special people to Me above all nations; for all the earth is Mine. You shall be to Me a royal priesthood and a holy nation.”

10 Turn from Your fierce wrath, and be merciful to the wickedness of your people. Exodus 32:12
