7 Room Tax Breakdown Room Tax 10% - 4% V&T Bond/Capital - 3/16% to Youth Sports Association - 3/8% to NCOT - 3/4% to Carson City for Inter-local agreement 5.3% of the 10% room tax is allocated away from the visitors bureau or 53% of 1.4 million leaves the CVB and the remainder is used for marketing services.
