What is a reference? someone who can comment on your personal character, work ethic, or past work experiences.

Character Reference Also known as a personal reference, a character reference is a someone who will vouch for your personal character.

Professional Reference A professional reference is someone who will vouch for your work experience. Examples: A supervisor where you worked A supervisor where you volunteered A family you baby-sat for Neighbours who have hired you to shovel their driveway or mow their lawns
