Assigning LCC from scratch §1st choose subject headings §If LCSH suggests a call number l Check in LCC to see if it is in the right place for your book §If LCSH does not suggest a call number l Try searching the UT catalog to find a call number l Check in LCC to see if it is in the right place & “well built”
