14.  Can a person obtain a USDOT medical certification card if they have diabetes? Yes, it is possible.

15.  Will insulin dependent drivers who qualify for the diabetes exemption be able to obtain a white USDOT medical certificate? No, this is not allowed.

16.  Will diabetic drivers with MDE blue card be able to take a position with a new employer?  YES. Credentials follow the individual.

17.  A non-insulin dependent school bus driver prior to June 10, 2010, now is insulin dependent. Can that driver be medically certified?  YES, must have maintained continuous employment.
