Different Types USB 1.0 Introduced in 1996 12 megabytes per second USB 1.1 became the most popular USB port with computer manufacturers and the public USB 2.0 was released Transfers speed at 480 megabytes per second 3.0 released in 2009 It’s speed: 4.8 gigabytes per second
