Rules For Technology Lab  Come in to the lab quietly and go to your assigned computer  Do not touch other keyboards or laptops on you way to your computer  Always wait for instructions before you do anything  Only visit approved internet sites when you have permission  Do not share passwords with anyone other than parents / teachers  Make sure you leave your workspace as you found it  Exit out of all programs and hang up your headphones  Push in your chairs before leaving the lab  Throw away any trash on your way out  Use only your assigned computer and do not move the icons on monitor  Do not change any system settings or edit files that are not yours  Treat classmates, teacher & all equipment with respect  Help your neighbors if they need your help  Do not talk when the teacher is talking  If your hands are dirty please wash them before using computer

Rules for Technology Lab (cont’d) No food or drink allowed in the lab Read your screen before asking questions Lights out means I need your attention Remove your headphones and take your hands off computer Sit and wait for instructions from teacher Do not get out of your seat to ask for help Do not get out of your seat to help someone else Raise your hand for anything that you need Absolutely NO running in the Technology Lab Be prepared to learn something new everyday
