3. 3 LHCb-Babar Meeting, 4 April 2005 Purpose o LHCb and Babar share many of the same physics goals. o LHCb can gain from the Babar experience in carrying out B-physics and CP violation analyses - tools, physics, … o Babar might benefit from some of the innovations being introduced into LHCb for analysis and computing o Frequency of meetings? Every 2-3 months? o What topics should be discussed at future meetings? o Volunteers to give talks? o We could invite people from outside RAL (ie. theorists, other UK institutes)-eg. On 1 June Tobias Hurth will give B- physics seminar at RAL o Other comments?
